Sobre la acción de desplazar…

… o el estado del desplazamiento.

About the action of displace or about the state of displacement

In the spring of 2014 I traveled to the city of Oslo, support by the EEA grant from the Embassy of Norway.

On the journey I displaced a Spanish stone and in the return a Norwegian branch move to Spain.

During ten days I had displaced different elements that I find in my way: feathers, rocks and branches.

The actions deal with the Act of displacement or/& the displacement State. Act &/ or state, action and/ or thought, the social context leads me to think of resist, escape, resist, change, resist, transform, resist, belonging, resist, migrate, who has chosen to be born in a place?

For me each displacement is a personal, political and poetic act.

Estas son algunas de las imágenes generadas/ These are some of the generated images:

At the same time I was developing the EXCHANGE Live Art project with the norwegian artist Inger-Reidun Olsen and together we made a piece with the stone, «Are they going to hang themselves?«. When I came back to Spain I made a serie of drawings and edit an object book with all the work made.

The second series I had developed in Finland during a residence fellowship of two months in Saari of the Kone Foundation, where as that in the previous I was developing the EXCHANGE Live Art project but this time with artist Isabel León.

Every morning I go out to walk through the forests around the residence, every day I displace a new element or object (not many because Finnish nature is quite clear from human objects).

This time on my trip I move a Spanish branch and back move Finnish pappus (from the spherical seed heads called blowballs).
