La artista Ana Matey nos propone un acercamiento al territorio desde el silencio y la escucha. Un recorrido que se convierte en las páginas de una revista que entre todas vamos a escribir. Una escritura que se realiza al caminar y a través de la lectura del propio lugar, de sus huellas y señales. Un caminar consciente, abierto al suceso inesperado, así como a distintas propuestas que la artista lanzará al grupo junto con las artistas Isabel León y Alba Soto.
El caminar como práctica estética es uno de los fundamentos de la obra de la artista, una práctica que te aleja del sistema habitual de producción y consumo, para acercarte a la construcción de un camino propio. Este camino te acerca a lo mínimo en cuanto a necesidades materiales y provoca a su vez una mínima erosión medioambiental; una práctica que además de estética puede entenderse como simbólica, poética, filosófica, política y social.

The artist Ana Matey proposes an approach to the territory through silence and listening. A journey that becomes the pages of a magazine that we are all going to write together. A writing that is done while walking and through the reading of the place itself, of its traces and signs. A conscious walking, open to unexpected events, as well as to different proposals that the artist will launch to the group together with the artists Isabel León and Alba Soto.
Walking as an aesthetic practice is one of the foundations of the artist’s work, a practice that takes you away from the usual system of production and consumption, to bring you closer to the construction of your own path. This path brings you closer to the minimum in terms of material needs and in turn causes minimal environmental erosion; a practice that in addition to aesthetics can be understood as symbolic, poetic, philosophical, political and social.
