La artista propone una nueva performance dentro de la serie “Conversaciones”, la cual lleva desarrollando desde el año 2015. Común a todas ellas es la exploración del campo sonoro a través del movimiento corporal y de los propios elementos que la artista emplea.
Cada una versa sobre un temática diferente, dependiendo de los acontecimientos y preocupaciones que esté viviendo en ese momento, tanto en lo personal como en lo social
Una intensa acción donde Ana pasará por distintos estados, el primero meditativo contando 6,480, el total de segundo para alcanzar el número 108. Este número un recurrente en su obra, una manera de conexión profunda con el cuerpo, la mente y la naturaleza. Un número especial en muchas culturas, resaltar los 108 nudos de conexión por donde fluye la energía en el cuerpo humano, los 108 canales de energía que convergen para formar el Chakra del Corazón. Como en la filosofía Tao y China hay 108 estrellas sagradas. El rosario hindú (mala) y budista tiene 108 cuentas que simbolizan la “cadena de los mundos” de las tradiciones esotéricas y a través de su repetición se entra en el estado de meditación…
En la actualidad hay 108 millones de refugiados en el Mundo
La idea de refugio aparece en la pieza en oposición al concepto de ruina, caída, derrumbe… La palabra refugio es un cultismo procedente del latín refugium, acción de huir hacia atrás y también lugar protegido al que uno se retira huyendo en retroceso, siendo utilizada alguna vez con valor de salida secreta. ¿Podría ser el arte ese refugio?
The artist proposes a new performance within the series «Conversations«, which she has been developing since 2015. Common to all of them is the exploration of the field of sound through body movement and the very elements that the artist uses.
Each one deals with a different theme, depending on the events and concerns she is experiencing at the time, both personally and socially.
An intense action where Ana will go through different states, the first one meditative counting 6,480, the total of seconds to reach the number 108. This number is a recurrent in her work, a way of deep connection with the body, the mind and nature. A special number in many cultures, highlighting the 108 knots of connection through which energy flows in the human body, the 108 energy channels that converge to form the Heart Chakra. As in Tao and Chinese philosophy there are 108 sacred stars. The Hindu (mala) and Buddhist rosary has 108 beads that symbolise the «chain of worlds» of the esoteric traditions and through their repetition one enters the meditative state…
There are currently 108 million refugees in the world.
The idea of refuge appears in the piece in opposition to the concept of ruin, fall, collapse… The word refuge is a cultism coming from the Latin refugium, the action of fleeing backwards and also a protected place to which one retreats by fleeing backwards, being used at times with the value of a secret exit. Could art be that refuge?
