“Caminar Juntas” es una performance de Ana Matey Marañón que conecta el paisaje natural del paseo marítimo de Santander con sus huellas industriales y la arquitectura contemporánea de la ciudad. El propio recorrido constituye la esencia de la obra: una investigación sobre cómo habitamos, cómo nos relacionamos con los otros y con la naturaleza, en la búsqueda de equilibrio entre lo natural y lo artificial.
La acción de Ana invita a realizar un recorrido, caminar juntas entre lo natural y lo artificial, entre la memoria y lo nuevo.
La pieza concluye en las escaleras de la Fundación Botín, donde queda un rastro material y simbólico, memoria efímera de un caminar compartido.
“Walking Together” is a performance by Ana Matey Marañón that links the natural landscape of Santander with its industrial traces and the city’s contemporary architecture. The walk itself becomes the essence of the work: an inquiry into how we inhabit, how we relate to others and to nature, and the search for balance between the natural and the artificial.
Ana action invites us to accompany a passage: walking together between the natural and the artificial, between memory and the new.
The piece concludes on the stairs of the Botín Foundation, where a material and symbolic trace is left behind —an ephemeral memory of a shared path.
